Welcome!

Radio Sunderland for Hospitals is a registered charity staffed entirely by volunteers. It was established in 1953 to provide a personal bedside radio service to the patients in the Sunderland Royal Hospital.

 

We broadcast 24 hours day on the Hospedia bedside units and also Online. We produce a number of specialised programmes including the request programme Ward Call and of course, we provide full match commentary of every Sunderland A.F.C. home game.
