Fundraising

Radio Sunderland has undertaken many and varied fundraising activities in the past, raising essential funds to keep us broadcasting. This may take the form of a simple store collection or bag-packing exercise to a large sponsored outside broadcast event.

 

If you're ever out and about and you do see us with our collecting tins or P.A. equipment then please do come and say hello, we love to meet people and we can tell you in person all about Radio Sunderland and perhaps even talk you in to joining us!

 

Over a period of many years we have been grateful to many stores and businesses in and around Sunderland that have provided much needed support. If you have a business and you feel you could help Radio Sunderland by providing an opportunity to raise funds, then please do get in touch.

 

Since we launched our full 24 hour broadcasting service in 1998, Radio Sunderland has enjoyed a much higher profile with the patients and we are the Number One radio station on their bedside units. This enables us to offer programme sponsorship opportunities for suitable businesses.
